Where young players
fall in love with the game.
Denison Soccer Club runs recreational and competitive youth soccer programs in Grayson County, Texas. Licensed coaches, background-checked staff, and small training groups so every player gets real attention.
Registration takes about 10 minutes. No payment is taken until a coach confirms your player's group placement.
Our programs
Four pathways, from first touch to college recruitment.
Little Kickers · Ages 4–6
A 45-minute weekly session focused on coordination, listening, and having fun with a ball. No games, no scores, no pressure. Parents stay on the sideline and are welcome to join in.
Recreational League · Ages 7–14
One practice and one game per week during a 10-week season. Balanced teams, equal playing time guaranteed for every registered player, and a focus on fundamentals.
Competitive Select · Ages 9–18
Tryout-based teams competing in the North Texas Soccer league. Two practices and one match weekly, plus regional tournaments. Higher commitment and higher cost.
Skills Academy · Ages 8–18
Small-group technical training that runs alongside any team. Sessions focus on first touch, finishing, passing under pressure, and goalkeeping. Book by the block.
Why families choose us
Licensed coaching
Every head coach holds a USSF or United Soccer Coaches licence at grade D or above, and all staff complete SafeSport training annually.
Safety first
All coaches and volunteers pass a national criminal background check before contact with players. Concussion and heat-illness protocols are published and followed.
No hidden fees
The fee you see covers the full season including uniform and league registration. Tournament travel is optional and quoted separately in advance.
Financial assistance
We set aside scholarship places every season for families who need them. The application is short, confidential, and reviewed within a week.
Small groups
We cap training groups at eight players per coach so nobody spends the session standing in a queue waiting for a turn.
Real communication
Schedule changes and weather cancellations go out by text and email at least two hours before session start wherever possible.
Common questions
Completely. A large share of our recreational players start with no experience at all. Coaches group players by age and ability so beginners are never thrown in with experienced teams. Little Kickers and Recreational League are both designed as entry points.
Shin guards, soccer socks that cover the guards, athletic shorts, cleats or trainers, and a water bottle. The jersey is included in your registration fee. We keep a small loaner supply of cleats and guards for families who need them — just ask, no questions.
Yes. We offer a full refund up to 14 days before the season starts, and a partial refund on a sliding scale after that. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.
We cancel for lightning within 10 miles, heat index above 105°F, or unsafe field conditions. Notice goes out by text and email. Cancelled sessions are made up at the end of the season where the calendar allows.
We do. Scholarship places covering 50% or 100% of registration are available each season. Email info@denisonsoccer.com and we will send the form. Applications are confidential and never discussed with coaches or other families.
Recreational teams are balanced by age and are assigned by our registrar — we honour carpool requests where we can but cannot guarantee specific team placements. Competitive Select teams are formed through open tryouts held each May and December.

Safety & Compliance
Club-wide standards
SafeSport trained staff, published concussion protocol, certified first-aiders at every session, and a two-adult rule — no coach is ever alone with a player.
Volunteer with us
Recreational teams are led by trained parent volunteers supported by our licensed staff. We provide the coaching course, the session plans, and the background check at no cost to you. No playing experience is required — willingness matters far more.
Staff names, licences, and biographies shown here are placeholders. Replace them with your actual coaching staff before publishing — misrepresenting credentials is both a Google Ads policy violation and a serious trust issue with parents.

About Denison Soccer Club
A community youth soccer club serving Denison and the surrounding Grayson County area since 2008.
Who we are
Denison Soccer Club is a non-profit youth sports organisation run by a volunteer board of directors and a small paid coaching staff. We serve roughly 600 players each season across recreational, competitive, and development programs.
We are affiliated with the North Texas State Soccer Association and sanctioned through US Youth Soccer. Our Select teams compete in NTSA league play.
What we believe
Most children who play youth soccer will not play it professionally, and that is completely fine. Our job is to make sure they leave the sport fitter, more confident, better at working with other people, and still enjoying the game. Winning matters less to us than whether a player wants to come back next season.
We keep our recreational fees deliberately low and we do not turn children away for inability to pay. Our competitive program is priced to cover its actual costs and nothing more.
What we don't do
We don't promise college scholarships, professional pathways, or guaranteed advancement. No youth club can honestly guarantee those outcomes, and we would rather tell you that up front than sell you something we cannot deliver. We don't use pressure tactics on families, and we don't tie registration to buying merchandise or fundraising quotas.

2. Children's privacy
This website is directed at parents and guardians, not at children. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to submit information through this site directly.
Information about a player is collected from and on behalf of their parent or legal guardian. In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we collect only the minimum information needed to place a child safely in a program and to contact an adult responsible for them. We do not use children's information for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles from it, and we never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
A parent or guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by emailing privacy@denisonsoccer.com. You may also refuse further collection without losing access to the program your child is already enrolled in.
3. How we use information
- To place a player in a suitable age and ability group
- To contact a parent or guardian about registration, schedules, and cancellations
- To keep players safe, including sharing medical or allergy information with the coaching and first-aid staff responsible for that player

- To send club news, where you have opted in
- To measure website and advertising performance, where you have consented
- To meet legal, tax, and safeguarding obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects.
4. Photography and video
We sometimes photograph sessions and matches for club communications. Consent is collected separately on the enrolment form and is entirely optional — declining has no effect on your child's participation. You may withdraw photo consent at any time and we will remove existing images from club channels on request.
5. Cookies
We use three categories of cookie:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used. Set only with your consent.
- Advertising — Google Ads conversion measurement. Set only with your consent.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage remain denied. You can change your mind at any time via the Cookie Settings link.
6. Who we share information with
- North Texas State Soccer Association — player registration and insurance, where required by the program
- Our coaching staff — only the information needed to coach and keep that player safe
- Our web host and email provider — site delivery and correspondence
- Our payment processor — fee collection
- Google LLC — analytics and advertising measurement, where consented, and never including children's data
We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the safety of a child.
7. Retention
- Registration and enrolment records: 3 years after a player's last active season
- Medical and emergency information: deleted at the end of the season unless the player re-registers
- Financial records: 7 years, as required for tax purposes
- General enquiry correspondence: 24 months
- Analytics data: 14 months · Server logs: 90 days
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. 9. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, restricted access to registration records, and regular software patching. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information entrusted to us — particularly information about children.

Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Agreement
By using denisonsoccer.com or registering a player with Denison Soccer Club, Inc., you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or register.
2. Eligibility to register
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. By registering you confirm you have the legal authority to enrol the named player and to agree to these terms on their behalf.
3. Programs and placement
Program descriptions, schedules, and locations published on this site are indicative. Final group placement is at the discretion of our coaching staff, based on age, ability, and available space. Places in Competitive Select teams are awarded by tryout and are not guaranteed by registering.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are stated on the Fees page in USD and are per player, per season or term. No payment is taken through the registration form — we send a secure payment link only after placement is confirmed. The fee confirmed at registration is the fee for that season; we do not raise it mid-season. Optional extras such as away tournament travel are quoted separately in writing before you commit.
Nothing on this site creates a subscription or auto-renewing charge. Each season and each Academy block is booked individually.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Our full policy is on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page and forms part of these terms.
6. Assumption of risk
Soccer is a contact sport that carries an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury. By registering a player you acknowledge this risk. A separate waiver and medical authorisation form is signed at enrolment and is required before a player may participate.
7. Conduct
Players, parents, guardians, and spectators are expected to follow our code of conduct. We reserve the right to remove any person from a session or facility for abusive behaviour toward players, coaches, officials, or other families. Removal for conduct reasons does not entitle the person to a refund.
8. Medical information and emergency care
You agree to disclose any medical condition, allergy, or medication relevant to your player's safe participation. In an emergency where you cannot be reached, you authorise our staff to seek emergency medical treatment for your player.
9. No guaranteed outcomes
We make no representation or guarantee regarding athletic development, playing time beyond what is stated for a specific program, team selection, tournament results, college recruitment, or scholarship outcomes.
10. Intellectual property
The content, branding, and design of this website belong to Denison Soccer Club, Inc. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability arising from participation in a program is limited to the fees paid for that program. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Grayson County, Texas.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
We want families to be able to try soccer without financial risk. This policy sets out exactly when and how you can get your money back.
Recreational League and Little Kickers
- More than 14 days before the season starts: full refund, no questions asked, no administrative fee.
- Within 14 days of the season start: full refund less a $20 administrative fee, which covers uniform ordering and league registration already committed.
- After the first two sessions: 50% refund if your player decides it isn't for them. We'd rather return half your money than have a child forced to finish a season they aren't enjoying.
- After the halfway point of the season: no refund, except for injury or relocation (see below).
Competitive Select
- Before the first instalment is due: full refund of any deposit paid.
- After team formation: refunds are pro-rated against remaining instalments, less committed uniform and league registration costs. Because Select team places are limited and a withdrawal affects the whole squad, we ask families to be certain before accepting a place.
- Away tournament fees: refundable only if we can fill the place or if the event itself is cancelled by the organiser.
Skills Academy and Summer Camps
- More than 7 days before the block or camp week begins: full refund.
- Within 7 days: transfer to a later block or camp week at no cost, or a 50% refund.
- After it begins: unused sessions can be transferred to a later block; refunds are not available.
Injury, illness, and relocation
If a player suffers a season-ending injury or illness, or your family relocates out of the area, we issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the season at any point. We ask for a brief note from a medical professional in the case of injury. This applies to every program, including Select.
Cancellations by the Club
If we cancel a program before it starts, or cannot deliver it due to insufficient enrolment, you receive a full refund with no deductions. Individual sessions cancelled for weather are made up where the calendar permits; where they cannot be made up, we credit them against your next season.
Removal for conduct
Refunds are not issued where a player, parent, or guardian is removed from a program for breaching the code of conduct.
How to request a refund
Email billing@denisonsoccer.com with your player's name, program, and the reason for the request. We acknowledge within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days, returned to the original payment method.
Statutory rights
This policy does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
